Firehouse February 11th
Just wanted to let you guys know that we will be playing at the Firehouse in Norman next Friday night (11th). Also, our March date at the Texas Tea House in Dallas has been moved to the 18th. I know many of you are planning on coming down, and we really appreciate that. We have several more dates in the works, and will try to have them up as soon as possible.
I also wanted to thank everyone for voting at Payne County Line. We were nominated for several categories and were very competitive with other bands and artists. The winners will be announced around February 14th, and we have a good chance of winning in a number of areas. From time to time we ask you to do something to help out the band (like requesting our music from various radio stations). You have never let us down.
Also, I wanted to comment that the last show at Ada was fantastic. The turnout was somewhere around 350. It seems to grow everytime we play there. It was the most enthusiastic and enjoyable crowd we’ve had (it seemed almost everyone knew all of our songs). Unfortunately, we ran out of time for our set. I realized the next day that we didn’t even play “Another Day“, or “Far From Saints.” It won’t happen again.
Additionally, I wanted to thank David Wayne (KYKC) and John Roan (KTLS) for having us by for some interviews. We really enjoyed David letting us take over DJ duties. For about 40 minutes, we got to play whatever we wanted on air.
This weekend, Aaron (I pronounce it Ern), Will and myself are heading on down to Dallas to watch Steve Earle and the Dukes play. We might even come back with a new guitar amp for Aaron (if anyone can believe that).
Hopefully, we’ll see many of you out next friday.
Thanks for Lisnen,
Dameon
