Wormy Dog April 1st! Farewell Fitch.
For those of you who haven’t heard, Saturday was our last show with Michael Fitch. He had the opportunity to move to Nashville and make much more money than we were able to give him by playing with some different bands. We wish him the best and enjoyed having him as a member of Briar Branch Road. Maybe we’ll get back together down the road.
Unfortunately, change is a difficult but integral part of being in a band. It takes a great deal of time and work getting to know new material and adapting to new musicians. Fortunately, seasoneed veteran Johny Barbata has stepped up to the plate and will be drumming for us in Fitch’s stead. Johny has been a member of the Turtles; Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young; Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship. He has toured extensively including a stint with the great Neil Young performing solo. It is a pleasure to have him play for us. We want all of our fans to give him a warm welcome.
We’re excited about being back at the Wormy Dog on April 1st. We haven’t played there since last summer when we appeared as an opener. I have been asked on many occassions when we would be playing there again. Hopefully, many of you will show up. We need a good turnout so that it won’t be so long until they have us back again.
I’m kinda short on time, so I’ll add more later.
Thanks for Lisnen,
Dameon
