Short Break
It’s almost finals time, so we’re going to be on a short break. The next time you see us in concert, Will and I will have graduated from law school. It seemed to go by so quickly, and it’s been interesting trying to balance music and school.
I wrote another song today and I’m thinking of adding it to the set list as a bit of a breakup. It’s a little slower overall, but sometimes it’s good to slow down a bit.
We have moved our online CD sales to Lone Star Music. If you go to that site, you can buy a CD or post a review. All you have to do is click on SHOP above.
I noticed tonight that there are already a few reviews posted. The last one contained a bit of constructive criticism. I think it’s always good to hear from the people who keep up with this scene even if it’s not praise. You can’t please everybody, and for every band you see on TV or hear on the radio, there is someone out there who hates their music (not that this poster hates the music). Nevertheless, bands should always strive to be better at every level of their craft. One particular thing that I liked, is that this reviewer has obviously been to one of our shows at some point. Also, they didn’t just post one of those juvenile “these guys suck” comments, but rather gave thoughtful, specific criticisms. The tenor of the post was never rude, and so I ask that if anyone decides to post a response, that they refrain from attacking the author. Often, I see message boards and review sites where fans attack one another and it’s usually not necessary. BBR welcomes all viewpoints so long as they are always civil (although it would be disingenuous to say we don’t prefer the ones that are complimentary).
We appreciate beyond words those of you who do like our little band, and we’ll continue to work hard to bring you the best show possible!
Thanks for Lisnen,
Dameon
P.S. Will aint going nowhere!
