Hello my fine friends. Sorry it’s been a while since the last update, but I’ve been extremely busy with school lately.

Kongo’s was a fun and Johny Barbata did a good job filling in, particularly considering he didn’t get any practice beforehand. The next night at Ada was the usual. Big crowd all there to have a good time. A band called Rude Mood opened for us and did a fantastic job. Click here to check out their website.

By the way, we’ve started having guest singers up to sing a line of “3 Across the Seat”, so practice up if your coming out to a show. I enjoy having our fans take part in the show; it’s a nice change to hear someone else sing my lyrics.

The Wormy Dog show was a fantastic time. I believe there were around 450 people there. We really appreciate all of you who made a special trip to bricktown to support us. Also, don’t forget to keep calling and requesting our music from your local radio stations. How quickly they forget about you.

It’s been a long time since we’ve printed up shirts and stickers for sale. It’s about time to do that again (Sorry, I’m just rambling). Also, I’m about to turn our internet CD sales over to lonestarmusic.com. I’ll let you know more about this soon (you probably already own a CD anyway don’t ya)

On another unrelated note, I just purchased the Drive-by-Truckers DVD “Live at the 40-Watt.” It’s fantastic. I have recently remarked (and I’m prepared to stand by it) that I believe these guys are the best band in the U.S.of A. right now. Fantastic songwriting paired with some old school rockin makes them tough to beat. Everything’s not always in tune, but for some reason, it just don’t matter. Unfortunately, we’re going to be off for a while after the show next Saturday on the 16th. After we lost our drummer (Fitch), I decided to put a hold on booking until I knew where we stood. We’ve got this weekend off, and I’m going to enjoy it. It’s been a while since I’ve had a whole weekend off. I’m already missing the stage though, so it’s hard to say if it’s going to be as nice as I think. Anyway, Law School finals will be here soon, so I’m just going to take off until those are over. Then it’s back to business. In the meantime, come on out on the 16th if you can. Hope to see you there and as always…
