Kongos Friday June 3rd!
Howdy folks. Will and I are now graduates of the University of Oklahoma’s College of Law. It’s nice to be finished, but the thrill has been somewhat overshadowed by the impending bar exam in July. We’ll be taking off all of July to study for the bar, and then, we’ll be studying for the MPRE which takes place the second week of August. We are currently booking for August and September and hope to fill up the schedule. In the meantime, you should come to one of the few shows we’ll be playing this summer before our somewhat long hiatus. I’m going to hate being away from the stage for so long.
Tommorrow, we’ll be at private party, then it’s on to Sulphur for their Water Festival on Saturday the 28th. I believe the show will be on main street. Rude Mood will be playing just before us, and Deryl Dodd will play immediately after. An outdoor show like this should be fun because it’s open to all ages and its much earlier than when we usually play. Bring out your younger siblings, nephews, grandkids, grandparents, neighbors, co-worke…(you get the idea).
Next week, We’ll be playing at Kongos in Norman. The show will be Friday, June 3rd. This may be the last show in the area of Norman/Oklahoma City until the fall. Also, we’ll be at Ada on June 18th at C4. I’ve had to move the original date of the 24th due to my good friend Chad Middleton’s wedding. I’ll be playing a song during the wedding that I wrote for those guys (should be on the next album).
Finally, I’ll be playing a few acoustic shows this summer at The Village in Ada. They’ll be announced on this page as the dates develop.
That’s it for now. I had alot of business to talk about this time, but I’ll try to update again soon to let you know what’s been going on for us.
Hope to see you out soon, and as always…..
Thanks for Lisnen,
Dameon
