Hey folks. Please pass the word along that we’re going to be playing at “I Love This Bar & Grill” the new place owned by Toby Keith in Bricktown on Tuesday, June 28th. We realize that many people in the red dirt scene might find playing at a Nashville-themed bar sacrilege, but when I was first approached about the venue I opined that playing a particular venue doesn’t constitute “selling out.” Our set list will remain the same, and we will proudly play Chris Knight, Waylon Jennings, and the rest of our favorite songwriters and performers. More importantly, we will be introducing our own music to those in attendance. I can assure you that there will be no pyrotechnics, wireless mics or headsets. It’s just gonna be the down home BBR shows with which you have become accustomed (except that we will all be wearing leather pants….. Just kidding. Only Andy will be in leather pants.) This will indeed be the last full band show until August, so try to come out and bring some friends. If you would like to come out and eat first, that will be great. Just remember, that there will likely be a waiting list to sit down and eat. The show is tentatively scheduled to take place from 9-12pm. This may change however, because the Bar hasn’t opened yet, and management doesn’t know how the dinner crowds are going to shake out as far as when they will be leaving, and how backed up they will be serving dinner. With that caveat in mind, if you plan on just attending the show, you might want to show up right around 9pm so that you don’t have to wait. This show should be a good opportunity for some people to come out who aren’t used to staying up until 2am. So bring out grandma or your lame-ass roommate who always asks why we play so late. Hope to see you there!

Thanks for Lisnen,

Dameon
